Simple Salmon
I have always been scared of cooking salmon as it appeared complicated to me. After researching and watching what has felt like a million videos, I have finally accomplished the perfect and easiest salmon recipe. Not only is the recipe one of my favorites, it is also a favorite of my family's as well. In this recipe, you will discover how easy it is to cook salmon with delicious results. Come along while I take you step by step on how to cook "Simple Salmon".
Equipment
- 1 Cast Iron Skillet
Ingredients
- 3 Pre-cut Frozen Salmon
- The Blend Seasoning – measure with your heart
- 3 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Begin by thawing out the frozen salmon.
- While salmon is thawing out, set skillet on medium heat and let warm up.
- Once the salmon is thawed, massage the Blend seasoning on both sides of the salmon.
- Add salmon to warm skillet. Cook the salmon for 5 minutes or until it is cooked half way through and has a nice sear.
- Flip salmon over, and reduce to low heat.
- Add the butter and begin to baste salmon. Baste 6-8 times per piece of salmon.
- Turn heat off and let salmon sit for 5 minutes.
- Add salmon to a bed of rice, garnish with parsley, and pair with your favorite veggies.
